Occurred on W 2ND St. Received a complaint of some people that had their dogs on leashes, but were not in physical control. The reporting party walked past them with her dog, and their dogs tried to attack her dog. The dogs did not succeed in biting her dog. The people with the attacking dogs then blamed her for walking by and used strong profanity in front of her granddaughter. Officers spoke with both parties. The owners of the attacking dogs were told to keep physical control of their dog, and admitted they should not use profanity in front of a child. All parties were satisfied with the outcome. Disposition: Completed.

Occurred on N Bent St. Received a report of a shoplifting. After a short investigation, the business owner advised this was unfounded. Disposition: Unfounded.

Occurred on Highway 295. A wallet was found and turned into the LEC. Dispatch called the owner of the wallet and he came and claimed his wallet. Disposition: Returned to Owner.

Occurred on W Coulter Ave. Received a complaint of a woman talking on her cell phone and veering into the reporting party’s lane. Officers found the vehicle parked, but were unable to find the owner or the driver. Disposition: Gone On Arrival.

Occurred at Mountain View St/Avenue K. Received a complaint of a motor cycle being ridden so fast, that the rider couldn’t get stopped at the stop sign. The reporting party pointed the motorcycle out to the responding officer. The officer made contact at the residence where the motorcycle was parked. The occupants of the residence denied riding it, and said they didn’t know who was riding it. They were cautioned not to let anyone that isn’t licensed to ride it and to make sure they are riding safely. Disposition: Completed.
